MOBILE HOMES: Mobile Homes are allowed as long as they are manufactured under the HUD standards for NM. They also require a Manufactured Home Zoning Clearance in order to bring it into Taos County.
RV: In regards to camping they follow the Bureau of Land Management regulations that it should not exceeds more than 14 days within a 30 day period. Camping is also not considered a form of residency.
You may store an RV on your property. Upon building a home, you may reside in an RV for one year with an active building permit.
