Description
This 5 by 4 inch photo shows 2 men in uniform standing by a large woody station wagon with "Wolf Creek Ordinance Plant Fire Dept" painted on the door. The Wolf Tree Ordinance Plant was in operation from 1941 to 1945, supplying ammunition for World War II. The supplied England before the US entered the war. The photo appears to have been cup from a strip of photos as there are borders on the side - one reads "AFGA Safety Film" - this was an early celluloid acetate film, created to replace the volatile and flammable cellulose nitrate.
