Summary
This 20 acre gold lode mining claim is just outside of Lovelock, NV - and includes a unique ore type that includes Gold, Silver, Tungsten AND Uranium-308. The occurrence of Uranium-308 is not considering dangerous, nor of an economically significant grade.  Some samples test in the counts-per-minute range of 300 -500 CPM which would bring novelty to some collectors.
However this mine is a historic past-producer of Gold and Silver along with values of Tungsten.  Last workings at the Vernon & Snowstorm mine were during 1984 where a small shipment of ore was sent to the local mill for its Tungsten and Gold values.
This is a good claim for someone looking for Uranium specimens, or high-grade Tungsten ore with trace amounts of Gold in the ore.  Further development of this claim may yield greatest gold/silver values than last assayed.
The claim contains multiple prospects pits, an adit and a decline with over 200 feet of underground workings.  Good shoring and good dirt roads lead you up directly to the portal, and ore reserves on the claim.

Primary values on this claim are found in the SCHEELITE ore type carrying economically significant amounts of Tungsten and Gold.  Tertiary values of Uranium-308 are also present in safe amounts.

Comments on vein and structure:
It appears that significant known quantities of vein material are still present in the mine.  Multipe adits, bulldozer cuts and and a decline follow a system of irregular quartz and granite veins in Metamorphic Rock > Metasedimentary.  In addition to the ore in the tailings pile, additional work can be done on this gold mine to further expand on the vein system which takes a N-S strike, 70-90 E dip.  Good shoring still in place at the main entrance, and some caved in sections along the decline.

Several old prospect pits and ore reserves are scattered throughout the 20.66 acre
lode mining claim in Pershing County.

Taking a look at this skarn with near vertical fracture patterns on now entering the mine.
The major decline on this mine is starting to cave in, but looks like last work
was done to in the 1980's.

a variety of Uranium particles in this mine, trending to the North.
