Antique Chinese Imperial Court Embroidered Silk 8 DRAGON ROBE Kimono Royal Blue
This is a vibrantly embroidered against a blue satin silk ground with eight dragons, three on the front, one on each shoulder, three more on back. Beautiful gold dragons, bats, butterflies, dragonflies, flowers, birds, all above lishui waves supporting the bajixiang emblems, all rendered with polychrome silks and couched with gold-wrapped silk threads.
The colors and quality of the silk is amazing. In very good condition, some wear at top of inner collar, and some staining inner sleeves. Please see photos.
