    Antique Chinese White Silk Black Embroidered Figural Robe Front Trim Insert Dickey
    This antique Chinese white silk black embroidered figural robe front trim insert dickey dates from the late 19th century during the Qing Dynasty. It is made of a white silk fabric, with a contrasting black embroidered figural scenic garden design with a crane bird and pagoda temple shrines. This stunning robe trim dress front dickey would have been used as decorative front top insert, is backless, sleeveless with a small scalloped neckline and is hand stitched with a brown polished cotton fabric backing lining. The trim measures 14 inches long, 6 inches wide and has a 4 inch wide neckline. It is good condition with some fraying along the neckline and some loose missing black embroidery stitching (see close-ups). This is truly wonderful pieces antique Chinese textile wearable art!
