Civil War Artillery Hat Cord for the Hardee Hat or Slouch Hat - Original

Description

This red Artillery hat cord from the Civil War is in perfect unissued condition.
It was worn on the Hardee hat or Slouch hat.
It still has the string on the one of the tassels that was used to keep them neat and clean prior to use. There is a small spot that has tears to several strands at one point in the cord, as shown in the photo, but it is still strong and intact.
A great piece of Civil War history!
