This is the first time this placer mining claim has been available. It is located right off of Peak to Peak highway (highway 72) which stretches between I70 and Estes Park. The claim has parking which is plowed all four seasons. It’s conveniently located less than 20 minutes from Lyons, 30 minutes from Boulder proper and 30 minutes from Nederland and of course 5-10 minutes from Ward.
It contains over 1200 feet of creek. Mix of loose sand and gravel as well as large boulders. Several well established (but quiet) campsites are on the claim. This claim is an absolute gem. Perfect for the recreational miner and the whole family. Beautiful sights and easy access make this claim second to none. Given how seldom claims in Boulder County pop up, this is a real rarity.
The claim is registered with the BLM and the quit claim transfer will take place within 10 days of receiving payment (note the transfer can take up to 60 days depending on the BLM backlog.) A transfer fee of 150.00 will be added to the final price after the auction has ended.
