Mining claims are considered real property and can be bought, sold, leased, willed, transferred, etc. You may stay on your claim in a travel trailer or motorhome while mining your claim. Fixed or attached buildings are not usually permitted unless a bond is posted for the structures on federal mining claims.
Pictures taken last winter, water does fluctuate in summer months. Claims still have plenty of water for mining and processing.

totaling 80 in mining friendly Pershing County, NV on BLM administered lands. This awesome set of claims takes in over 5500 feet of rich year round Willow Creek just outside of Imlay, NV. Willow Creek is well known by Nevada placer miners as a hot spot for good gold and large gold. Nuggets over 18 ounces have been recovered from Willow Creek. Several benches, bends and alluvial fans run through the claims. It is believed that most of the gold comes from the rich quartz stringers around the Wadley Mine 3 miles up canyon from the claims. As you drive up the canyon you will see several old placer workings on both government and patented lands. There are old workings on these claims but by no means has this claim been worked out. I would estimate that the old workings prior covered only 20% of the claims being offered. Several million yards of virgin material still lays on the claims. Direct road access is provided by Willow Creek Road with several other roads leading into the claim set. There are excellent secluded areas to set up equipment and camp. If you are serious about mining a set of claims that has unwritten potential look no further.

Driving Directions
In Reno travel east on Interstate 80 heading towards Winnemucca. 25 miles west of Winnemucca take the Mill City exit. Turn right onto State Route 400 a paved road that heads south towards Unionville. Travel 2.6 miles and turn left onto Willow Creek Road a good gravel road. Continue on Willow Creek Road for 8.1 miles and you will very close to the west claim boundary. From this point the claims run upstream for over a mile. Feel free to sample as needed. If your having problems finding the claims call 530-816-0451 or email with any questions.
