    John Bean FMC Fire Apparatus Ephemera LOT c 1940s / 1950s
    The following items are included in this lot:
    1) Letter from Food Machinery and Chemical Corporation, John Bean Western Division, San Jose 1, California.  Letter is addressed to Mr William S. Hall, Chief of Safety, Pennsylvania Aeronautics Commission, Harrisburg State Airport, New Cumberland, Pennsylvania.  Letter is from Food Machinery and Chemical Corporation, John Bean Western Division, Harry Engman, Mgr Fire Equipment Dept.   Letter is in reference to crash truck that was delivered.
    2) Letter from FMC Corporation, John Bean Di vision dated 1964 addressed to:  Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Military Affairs, Pennsylvania Aeronautics Commission, Harrisburg-York State Airport, New Cumberland, Pennsylvania, attn to Mr. George W. Tomb.  Letter refers to attachment.  Attached is a double sided paper  which says on top:  John Bean, instruction and parts list L-1892, Model 785 "Spraymater" gun, general suggestions for the care of spray guns. Reverse side shows gun assembly and parts list.. (as pictured)
    3) Double-sided paper .. 1st side says:  An unbeatable combination, FMC two state 500-600-750 GMP Class "A" combination pump with FMC, U/L approved, high pressure fog system.   Reverse side says on top:  Here's why FMC system is unbeatable.   c 1951 from John Bean Western Division, Food Machinery & Chemical Corp, San Jose, Calif.
    4) Double sided paper.. also from the John Bean Western Division, says on one side:  FMC High-Pressure Fog Complete Demountable Units.. and it shows on page Model 605-F and Model 606-F.  Reverse side says on top:  Facts about high pressure fog.  On bottom of this page it says:  FMC high-pressure fog = 600 P.S.I. Nozzle Pressure!c. 1949
    5) Double-side paper also from FMC says on one side;  shown below.. the fmc 250f purchased by Tide W ater Associated Oil Co.  On to of reverse side it says on top: ... what is the "FMC system"?    c. 1950
    6)  Another double-sided paper from FMC.  One side says on top:  FMC Fire Aparatus, engineered to meet highest professional standards.   On reverse side it says on top: FMC Original Pilot Model, Combination volume and high pressure pumper.  c. 1951
    7) Six pages.. on top of first page has a space to put       spec. no., date and destination.. and says Specifications for combination midsip volume pumper and high pressure fog fire apparatus.
    8) 3 pages.. says on top of first page:  Description of FMC 500-600-750 G. P. M.  Two Stage pressure volume Centrifugal fire pump.
    9) Short memo form re:  Crash Truck, with note: Saw this item in in the aviation age and thought you might be interested in it.   There is a short newspaper article with it.. that is no longer attached.. re:  crash truck.  Memo dated 1951.
