    Description

Up for auction is pair original 8x10 black and white photos of a 1950s Maxim fire truck built by the Maxim for Rocky Hill Connecticut
The Maxim Motor Company (NOT Maxium, as incorrectly referred to) built fire apparatus in Middleborough from 1914-1989 on their own custom chassis as well as Chevrolet, Chevy, GMC, Ford, Dodge, International, REO, Diamond T and others. Known mostly through New England and the Midwest, they had loyal customers in the south and west coast also.
These are original Kodak prints that were taken of the apparatus by Maxim photographers before leaving the factory or just prior to delivery to some lucky fire department. Sometimes there are multiple/duplicate images of the same photo, but Maxim made many prints to use for advertising and sales over the years. Printed on Velox paper. Due to age, there is a slight curl to the photos. However they do lay flat in an album.
Photos will be mailed in envelope marked "DO NOT BEND" and rigid insert. Please allow 2-3 days for processing. I do NOT used eBay's Global shipping as there are hidden charges for buyers and sellers. Thank you!
I do combine shipping on multiple items. Please send me a message before you check out and I will send an updated invoice.
