    This is a rare single page advertising handbill (flyer) promoting ticket sales for the two-week,
    out-of-town tryout of the BRUCE JAY FRIEDMAN and JACQUES LEVY comedy "THE ONE-NIGHT STAND" at the Shubert Theatre in Boston, Massachusetts beginning September 24th, 1973. (The production played five weeks at the Fisher Theatre in Detroit and two weeks
    at the Forrest Theatre in Philadelphia
    before producer David Merrick closed the production on September 22nd, 1973, cancelling the two-week tryout at the Shubert Theatre in Boston and the October 14th, 1973 opening at New York's Plymouth Theatre.) ..... The play starred Hollywood film star TONY CURTIS (in what would have been his Broadway debut) and featured WILLIAM DEVANE, HAROLD GARY, CAROLYN MIGNINI, SAMMY SMITH, BARNEY MARTIN, KEN OLFSON, JUDITH TILLMAN, MARTY DAVIS and LESLIE CHARLESON ..... CONDITION: With the exception of a fold across the middle and light soiling, this rare handbill is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
